Job summary
Auctane is hiring a Software Engineer in Madrid to design, develop, test, and support enterprise integrations. You will create scalable APIs and integrations, partnering with architects, developers, and operations to enable critical business processes across the ShipStation Global ecosystem.
The role requires 3+ years of software development with 2+ years in integrations, strong REST API experience, DataWeave, SQL, cloud familiarity, and English/Spanish communication.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of software development experience with 2+ years in integrations.
- Experience building RESTful APIs and web services, API lifecycle management.
- Experience using XML, JSON, DataWeave.
- Relational databases and SQL knowledge.
- Experience with cloud applications, Git, CI/CD pipelines; distributed systems troubleshooting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in English and Spanish.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise integrations.
- Build API-led connectivity solutions using REST, SOAP, EDI, XML, JSON, and flat files.
- Develop DataWeave transformations for data mapping and orchestration.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize integration performance and reliability.
- Create technical docs, API specs, and runbooks; collaborate with stakeholders.
