Descripción del empleo

About this role

As our Integrations Consultant, you will be responsible for defining, advising on, and managing the technical requirements for enterprise customers integrating their Ashby ATS instance with our Workday API. You may also serve as the technical subject matter expert for implementing customers as more enterprise HCM integrations are shipped. You will work with customers of varying integration sophistication, advising on integration best practices, technical configurations, and collaboration with a customer’s internal expert to achieve goals. You will use your knowledge of integrations and the products being integrated to consult with customers, helping them get up and running quickly so they can achieve their desired business outcomes. You will partner with Product/Engineering, Implementation Specialists, CSMs, Sales Engineers, and other cross-functional teams to achieve this.

Role requirements
  • Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) Integration Experience: You have extensive experience managing and executing integrations with Workday Core HCM (defining work, aligning with stakeholders, communicating the project plan, and delivering results per expectations). You keep the team on track to meet milestones. Bonus points if you have a Workday HCM certification, or experience with Workday Recruiting or other enterprise-grade HCM solutions like UKG, ADP, Oracle, and SAP SuccessFactors. Experience with other integrations listed in Ashby Knowledge Base is a plus. Workday Studio expertise is not required.
  • Customer Centricity: You understand customer needs and tailor implementations to meet requirements. You build strong relationships through engagement and communication; you act as the customer’s proactive guide and advocate during the implementation.
  • Change Management: You navigate change management processes and help customers adapt to new systems and refreshed approaches.
  • Technical Proficiency: You have a solid understanding of a complex product (ideally Ashby) and its technical intricacies; you are technically curious and creative.
  • Consultative: You advise customers on best practices specific to their usage of software to ensure optimal value.
  • Innovative & Principled: You address customer opportunities proactively and improve processes, thinking critically to solve problems rather than relying on precedent.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: You partner with stakeholders across Customer Success, Sales, Product, Engineering, and Operations to align and define progress.
You could be a great fit if
  • You have technical expertise in designing and troubleshooting Workday integrations.

  • You communicate clearly, ask precise questions, and distill complex concepts into simple themes.

  • You are a good listener and advocate for the customer to ensure offerings evolve with customer needs.

  • You are a problem solver who thrives on complex, scalable solutions.

  • You value processes and seek to improve workflows to enhance efficiency.

  • You are detail-oriented and technically proficient, with a focus on internal operations.

  • You can manage multiple parallel projects and prioritize based on customer and business needs.

  • You are data-driven and use metrics to inform decisions and measure success.

  • You are adaptable in a fast-paced environment and able to participate in pre-sales conversations as a Workday SME when needed.

  • You enjoy coaching and helping customers grow.

You might not be a great fit if
  • You have limited experience leading Workday integrations.

  • You are pursuing a traditional implementation consultant role focused only on setting up a Workday instance for multiple customers.

  • You prefer an in-person role over remote work.

  • You are less interested in customer-facing roles that require both technical and interpersonal skills.

  • You are accustomed to defining ideas but not responsible for execution.

  • You prefer a simple product or a role focused only on building, not iterating and optimizing.

Our Philosophy

We focus on go-to-market alignment, ownership, principled thinking, and thoughtful communication. We aim to build best-in-class products and offer deep expertise with prospects and customers. We believe small, talented teams with the right environment perform best and provide appropriate compensation. These values and more are discussed during the hiring process.

The Interview

Our interview process is designed to help you show your best self and to provide insight into our focus areas. The process includes:

  • Recruiter Screen with Talent Team (30 minutes)

  • Hiring Manager Screen with Head of Professional Services (30 minutes)

  • Take Home Exercise

  • 60-minute Interview with Integrations Consultant and Product Manager

  • Final Round

  • 30-minute Interview with VP of Customer Success

  • 10-minute Closing Questions with Hiring Manager

Benefits
  • Quality-focused work approach with emphasis on durable solutions over quick hacks.

  • Opportunity to sell a product that customers are excited about.

  • Competitive compensation.

  • Stock options with a 10-year exercise window; you may purchase when financially comfortable.

  • Unlimited PTO with recommended four weeks per year.

  • Twelve weeks of fully paid family leave in the US, with expansion plans for other countries.

  • Generous budget for equipment, software, and office furniture.

  • $100/month education budget with manager-approved higher-cost items (e.g., conferences).
