Job summary

UNIOVI in Spain is seeking a First Stage Researcher (R1) to work on a Horizon Europe project within the Office of European Projects. The role involves laboratory-intensive tasks across multiple work packages, focusing on integration, experimental setup definition, and prototype validation of proposed communication techniques.

The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor's in Telecommunication Technologies and Services and a Master's in Telecommunication Engineering, or equivalent

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunication Technologies and Services and Master's Degree in Telecommunication Engineering, or equivalent qualifications from previous curricula
• Experience with laboratory tasks and experimental setups is beneficial
• Familiarity with V2V/V2I concepts is a plus

Responsibilities

• Laboratory-intensive tasks related to objectives across multiple work packages, including integration, experimental setups, and prototype validation of proposed communication techniques
• Integration of developed antennas into V2V communication prototypes
• Evaluation of KPIs using project transceiver for V2V communications in realistic scenarios and evaluation of a V2I link on a 30 GHz testbed

Offer Description

Laboratory-intensive tasks related to some of the objectives for the second half of the project, distributed across several work packages from the original proposal. These include, in particular, tasks associated with integration, the definition of experimental set-ups, and the validation of prototypes and communication techniques proposed in earlier stages of the project. Specifically, these fall under the following activities as defined in the original proposal: Integration of developed antennas into V2V communication prototypes. Evaluation of KPIs using the transceiver developed within the project for V2V communications in realistic scenarios. Evaluation of a V2I link on a 30 GHz testbed.
