Rheinmetall AG in Madrid, Spain seeks an experienced ILS engineer to ensure reliability, maintainability and availability of systems. The role includes RAM analysis, life cycle cost assessments and management of ILS activities across internal and external projects.

You will lead maintenance actions for systems in service, coordinate with multiple departments and drive cost-optimised support strategies throughout the lifecycle. Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Formación

• Experience in Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and reliability/maintainability analysis.
• Ability to plan, execute and supervise projects, including subcontractors.
• Knowledge of RAMT, RAMS and life cycle cost analysis.
• Strong communication and leadership for cross-functional teams.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure systems/equipment are reliable, maintainable, safe and available when required.
• Manage ILS engineering resources or subcontracting for projects, for external and internal clients.
• Direct maintenance actions of systems in service, coordinating with other departments.
• Lead cost analyses and develop strategies to optimize support costs across life cycle.
• Oversee incidents resolution, customer satisfaction and after-sales services.

Responsibilities

• Wide knowledge and skills to ensure that the systems and equipment developed and produced are reliable, maintainable, safe and available when required by the client.
• In charge of managing the ILS engineering of the products, either by managing own resources or by subcontracting work to companies, working on projects for external clients and internal company investments.
• Knowledge in fundamentals of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS).
• Supervision of projects and subcontractors: Ability to plan, execute and supervise projects, both internal and contracts delegated to subcontractors, ensuring that time, cost and quality objectives are met.
• Knowledge in defense regulations and standards relevant to the defense industry, such as STANAG, MIL-STD and DEF-STAN standards, and in particular those related to ILS.
• Technical knowledge in multidisciplinary systems in areas such as electronics, mechanics and telecommunications (HW and SW mainly) of defense, optionally of weapons systems, including their design, operation and maintenance.
• Knowledge in reliability and maintainability analysis: Ability to perform reliability, availability, maintainability, security and testability analysis (RAM T and S), as well as life cycle cost analysis (LCC).
• Generation of manuals, training and technical support.
• To perform cost analysis and develop strategies to optimize support costs throughout the systems life cycle.
• As after-sales action manager, to be in charge of managing the maintenance actions of the systems in service, leading a team of technicians at factory and interacting with other departments of the company, such as the commercial team, quality, engineering or operations. Resolution of incidents, customer satisfaction and the provision of after-sales services, both nationally and internationally.
• Communication and leadership: Strong communication and leadership skills for work.
