International Schools Partnership Limited is looking for a proactive Head of Primary Education to lead the academic program and drive high-quality teaching across the Primary School. You will shape pedagogy, support teachers, monitor student progress, and engage families in a collaborative, international environment.

The role requires strong leadership, evidence-based practice, and a commitment to safeguarding and development within an international school community in Madrid.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Primary Education or a related field.
• Valid teaching certification or license, as required by local regulations.
• Experience in bilingual or international schools is an advantage.
• Strong classroom management and instructional skills.
• Sound knowledge of child development and age-appropriate teaching methodologies.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilidades

• Academic and Pedagogical Leadership: Design, implement, and oversee the Primary academic program; ensure effective delivery of curriculum and pedagogical methodologies; promote innovative, student-centered teaching practices; analyze results and drive continuous improvement.
• Teaching Staff Management: Coordinate, mentor, and evaluate the Primary teaching team; identify development needs; lead pedagogical meetings; participate in recruitment and induction.
• Student Monitoring: Oversee students’ academic, social, and emotional progress; implement support strategies; ensure a safe, inclusive learning environment; coordinate wellbeing strategies.
• Family Engagement: Maintain effective communication with parents and guardians; participate in parent meetings and school events; address concerns.
• Administrative Management: Prepare academic and performance reports; coordinate timetables, assessments, and school activities; ensure policy compliance.
