Mind the Bridge in Barcelona is seeking an Innovation Advisor to shape open innovation strategies for major international corporations. You will lead engagements, assess corporate-startup collaborations, and deliver strategic recommendations to senior leadership, bridging startups and corporates with practical insights.

The role combines strategic analysis with client-facing leadership in a fast-paced advisory firm, offering a hybrid work model based in Barcelona and opportunities to influence

Formación

• 3–5 years in consulting with open innovation focus.
• Strong ability to distill complex information into clear strategic recommendations.
• Fluency in English; Italian is a plus; Spanish beneficial.

• Drive Strategy: Lead comprehensive assessments of corporate-startup collaborations, examining models like Venture Client, Direct Investment, M&A, and Venture Building.
• Advise Leaders: Work with senior leadership to provide actionable recommendations.
• Analyze Ecosystems: Monitor market trends, startup ecosystems, and emerging technologies to keep clients ahead.
• Deliver Excellence: Craft presentations and articulate sophisticated strategic ideas with clarity and impact.

Headquartered in Silicon Valley with offices in Barcelona, Seoul, New York, and Milan, it has been working as an international bridge at the intersection between startups and corporates since 2007. Mind the Bridge scouts, filters, and works with 10,000+ startups a year supporting global corporations with open innovation initiatives that translate into curated deals with startups (POCs. procurement, investments, and/or acquisitions). It also provides corporates with advisory services and benchmarking on innovation strategies and structures. Mind the Bridge developed MTB Ecosystem, an AI-powered open innovation matching platform for innovation ecosystem hubs and corporates.

About the Opportunity:

As an Innovation Advisor within our advisory team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the open innovation strategies of leading international corporations. This isn’t just about analysis; it’s about providing deep, strategic insights into how large enterprises can effectively and profitably engage with the startup ecosystem.

What You Will Do:

• Lead Client Engagements: Act as a trusted advisor to our corporate partners, confidently managing client relationships, navigating complex stakeholder dynamics, and guiding high-level strategic alignment.
• Drive Strategy: Lead comprehensive assessments of corporate-startup collaborations, dissecting models such as Venture Client, Direct Investment, M&A, and Venture Building.
• Advise Leaders: Work directly with some of the world's most influential companies, providing actionable recommendations to their senior leadership.
• Analyze Ecosystems: Continuously monitor and analyze market trends, startup ecosystems, and emerging technologies to keep our clients ahead of the curve.
• Deliver Excellence: Craft compelling presentations and articulate sophisticated strategic ideas with precision, clarity, and impact.

Who You Are:

• Experience: You have 3 to 5 years of experience in the consulting industry, with a profound understanding of open innovation, corporate strategy, and the startup ecosystem.
• Analytical Prowess: You are highly capable of distilling complex, multifaceted information into clear, actionable strategic recommendations.
• Languages: Fluency in English and Italian is essential. Proficiency in French or Spanish is highly valued, given our international footprint.
• Work Style: You thrive in a fast-paced environment, adept at managing multiple priorities and delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.
