Amazon AWS Infrastructure Services seeks a Critical Infrastructure Mechanical Field Engineer to provide full life-cycle support for AWS Data Centers, from design inception through site improvements and maintenance.

You will be the go-to engineering resource for the region, reviewing data center designs, troubleshooting equipment, leading audits, and coordinating with design, operations, and safety teams to enhance capacity, availability, and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial or commercial engineering for mission critical facilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or above.
• Experience with data centers, power generation, or oil and gas facilities.

Responsabilités

• Perform design and equipment submittal review for data centers in your region.
• Troubleshoot RCA and create corrective action documentation.
• Support operational issues with training and procedure reviews.
• Own design for data center upgrades to improve capacity and efficiency.
• Interface with design, server hardware, EHS teams to standardize reliability.
• Lead engineering audits and on-site data center visits.
• Act as resident engineer during construction, commissioning, turnover.
