Job summary

Amaris Consulting is seeking an Infrastructure Cybersecurity Project Manager in Madrid to lead security initiatives across infrastructure and cloud projects. You will coordinate security requirements from design through implementation and engage with technical and business teams to manage risks.

The role demands 3+ years in cybersecurity with a focus on infrastructure security, risk assessments, and project coordination.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity (ideally 5–7 years) with a strong background in infrastructure security and project coordination.
• Proven experience in cybersecurity risk assessments, vulnerability analysis, and risk mitigation planning.
• Strong knowledge of risk assessment methodologies, particularly ISO 27005, including risk treatment and residual risk management.
• Solid understanding of infrastructure architectures, server security, and cloud environments, especially Microsoft Azure.
• Knowledge of network security, firewalls, network flows, and privileged access management.
• Experience in vulnerability management, penetration testing remediation, and security action plan monitoring.
• Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
• Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• Fluent English, with excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate cybersecurity activities across infrastructure and cloud projects, ensuring security from design to implementation.
• Identify and assess cybersecurity risks related to servers, cloud architectures, infrastructure components, and network flows.
• Conduct risk assessments using ISO 27005 principles, evaluating impacts and defining security measures.
• Manage and monitor security action plans, tracking risks, mitigation activities, deadlines, and remediation progress.
• Coordinate vulnerability management and penetration testing remediation, ensuring actions are completed by technical teams.
• Review network flow, firewall openings, and privileged access requests for policy compliance.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, network, cybersecurity, and project teams to address security challenges.
• Monitor residual risks and risk treatment decisions, with proper documentation and escalation when needed.
• Organize and lead coordination meetings, prepare agendas, reports, and action tracking.
