Job summary

Amazon Commercial Services oversees and coordinates the execution of new build infrastructure and expansion projects across its Global Customer Fulfillment network. The role leads a team of contracted personnel and coordinates internal and external resources to launch new fulfillment centres, sort centres and delivery stations.

The candidate will work across multiple vendors and functional teams, manage budgets, milestones, and schedules to achieve on-time delivery and standardization, with 50%

Qualifications

• 7+ years of program or project management experience.
• 5+ years of managing stakeholders in cross-functional project experience.
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
• Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Active participant in vendor and Amazon safety policies.
• Coordinate material flow and installation schedules of interdependent vendors; manage budget and PO/invoice approvals.
• Plan, direct, supervise and control execution of all functions of the assigned program or project; escalate issues as needed.
• Represent the company with vendors during project execution.
• Mobilize resources through liaison with support departments to form project teams.
• Monitor progress and milestones; report conditions affecting cost or schedule.
• Own the project schedule to enable Go-Live.
