A leading cybersecurity firm is seeking an Information Security Advisor in Madrid to support central security teams and advise on AWS security practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of AWS Cloud Security and familiarity with security frameworks. Information Security Advisor – Barcelona

We believe in a collaborative approach to cybersecurity, where experts and clients work hand-in-hand to anticipate threats and protect critical infrastructure. As part of our growing Security Advisory practice, we are looking for an Information Security Advisor to join our team in Barcelona.

Responsibilities

• Trusted partner to central security teams and local business stakeholders.
• Support and advise engineering and product teams on cloud security best practices, with a strong focus on AWS environments.
• Collaborate on tool evaluation and integration (e.g. vulnerability management, monitoring, or compliance tools).
• Provide guidance during incidents and contribute to post-incident analysis and prevention measures.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of AWS Cloud Security fundamentals (IAM, Security Hub, GuardDuty, SCPs, network segmentation).
• Familiarity with information security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, OWASP, GDPR).
• Basic knowledge of secure coding and web application security principles.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written). Spanish or French is a plus.
