Job summary

Capitole is seeking an experienced Industrialization Project Manager to lead gearbox and transmission projects across international teams. You will drive manufacturing and industrialization activities, coordinate cross-functional engineering, production, suppliers, and capitalize on process optimization.

Fluent English, 5+ years in automotive, degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Automotive Engineering, and strong Powertrain knowledge are required.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex industrial projects from concept to delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets and quality.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities between Engineering, Production, Manufacturing and external suppliers.
• Support and supervise manufacturing and industrialization activities related to gearbox production, identifying optimization opportunities.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, monitor progress, and identify risks with mitigation actions.
• Ensure all deliverables meet technical specs and quality requirements.
• Manage product and manufacturing process changes through the project lifecycle, assessing impact on objectives.
• Monitor and manage technical and production-related issues with relevant stakeholders.
• Collaborate with suppliers and multidisciplinary teams for successful project implementation.
• Support the launch and improvement of production lines and processes related to transmission components.

We are looking for a Industrialization Project Manager with strong expertise in engines and mechanical components to join our international projects.

What Will You Do?

• Manage complex industrial projects from initial concept through final delivery, ensuring compliance with agreed timelines, budgets and quality standards.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities between Engineering, Production, Manufacturing and external suppliers, ensuring effective communication and alignment throughout the project.
• Support and supervise manufacturing and industrialization activities related to gearbox production, identifying opportunities for process optimization and operational improvement.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, monitor project progress and identify potential risks, defining and implementing appropriate mitigation actions.
• Ensure that all project deliverables are completed on time and in accordance with technical specifications and quality requirements.
• Manage product and manufacturing process changes throughout the project lifecycle, assessing their impact on project objectives.
• Monitor and manage technical and production-related issues, coordinating the relevant stakeholders to minimize their impact on project execution.
• Work closely with suppliers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project implementation.
• Support the launch and improvement of production lines and manufacturing processes related to transmission components.

Requirements:

• English: fluent.
• 5+ years of experience in the automotive industry
• Strong experience with Gearbox / Transmission systems
• Experience in Manufacturing & Industrialization
• Proven Industrial Project Management experience
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and suppliers
• Degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Automotive Engineering
• Knowledge of Powertrain systems is highly valued
