Omron Barcelona is seeking a Robotics Software Engineer to design and maintain software for industrial robotic systems, including the robot controller software and IDE. You will work across the full product lifecycle with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into reliable solutions.

The role emphasizes solving complex automation problems, shaping architectural decisions for future robotic platforms, and contributing hands-on to product direction and engineering tools.

Formación

• University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Robotics, Electronics, Automation Engineering, or related field.
• Strong software engineering background with professional experience in C++.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and SOLID design principles.
• Experience designing maintainable and scalable software solutions.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills.
• Good command of English (written and spoken).

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and maintain software for industrial robotic systems.
• Contribute to robot controller software and programming environment (IDE).
• Participate in the full product lifecycle from analysis to release.
• Collaborate with product owners, system architects, test engineers, and customers.
• Analyze complex problems and propose scalable, maintainable solutions.
• Improve software quality through testing, reviews, and continuous improvement.
• Help shape the architecture of future robotic platforms.
