FedEx is seeking an Industrial Engineer in Madrid to analyze, redesign, and optimize end-to-end processes across Operations, Technology, Regulatory, Compliance, and Business teams. You will drive productivity, efficiency, and operational excellence with scalable, future-ready solutions.

You will collaborate with multiple departments to map processes, implement improvements, and deliver measurable business impact while traveling 30% or more to FedEx locations in Europe.

Formación

• Bachelor's/MSc in Industrial/Process Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in Process Engineering, BPM, or Transformation programs.
• Experience mapping, analyzing, redesigning, and optimizing processes.
• Proven improvements in productivity, cycle times, quality, and outcomes.
• Experience in regulated environments with governance and risk awareness.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and analytical capabilities.
• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma or BPM methodologies.

What You Will Be Doing

• Recommend, lead and execute business analysis plans for new and existing projects
• Produce complex business process model flows (BPM flows) and develop SOP’s/ job aids
• Recognize and recommend opportunities for innovations, automations, and increased productivity
• Take ownership of initiatives and work independently to successful conclusion
• Evaluate business requests and needs against the strategy
• Lead any European project from start to finish (business case development, project plan, execution, implementation, hyper care support
• Maintain close partnerships with collaborating departments e.g. IT, Operations, Finance and Regulatory.
• Engage with all levels of business stakeholders to identify business needs

What Do You Bring With You

• Bachelor's/ MSc Degree in Industrial/ Process Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related discipline
• 3+ years of experience in Process Engineering, Business Process Management, Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence, Business Analysis, or Transformation Programs
• Proven experience mapping, analyzing, redesigning, and optimizing end-to-end business processes.
• Demonstrated success delivering measurable improvements in productivity, efficiency, cycle times, quality, and customer outcomes
• Experience working within regulated environments where process compliance, governance, and risk management are critical
• Strong analytical skills, stakeholder engagement capabilities, process mapping expertise, and familiarity with continuous improvement frameworks such as Lean, Six Sigma, or BPM methodologies will be highly valued
• Proficient use of Microsoft 365 suite (Generic, One Note, MS Lists, Visio, Power BI, Copilot)
• Oracle Database - tool for SQL queries is a plus
• Willingness to travel frequently (30% or more) to various FedEx locations in Europe
• Ability to lead internal cross-functional teams to fast-cycle strategic developments
• Previous exposure to Customs Clearance is an advantage
