Job summary

Omya is seeking a Specialist Indirect Tax in Barcelona to execute daily indirect tax tasks, ensure timely tax returns, and monitor KPIs in a hybrid work setting.

You will collaborate with Group Tax and internal stakeholders to standardize processes and stay compliant with local and international tax regulations.

3–5 years of experience and SAP/OneStream familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• University degree in accounting, finance, taxation, or law.
• Advanced tax certifications (CTA/CPA/ACCA) are advantageous.
• Experience with SAP and tax reporting systems (OneStream).
• 3–5 years in an operational tax or process role.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily indirect tax tasks including returns and reconciliations.
• Monitor KPIs and SLAs, taking corrective actions.
• Support standardization and change management in tax processes.
• Collaborate with Group Tax and local authorities as needed.
