About Us

At AirAdvisor, we are dedicated to ensuring air travelers receive the compensation they are entitled to for flight disruptions. Whether it’s a delay, cancellation, missed connection, or an airline-related issue like overbooking, we operate in the EU, UK, and other international markets, focusing on protecting air passenger rights globally. We have successfully processed over 460,000 claims for clients from 221 countries, earning a 4.6-star rating from 22,000+ reviews. Currently operating in 21 languages (with 9 more forthcoming this year), AirAdvisor is an ambitious and fast-growing startup with a clear vision for international expansion, aiming to reach 1 million claims by the end of 2026.

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Solicitor / Lawyer specializing in consumer flight claims (typically via small claims procedure) to lead in-court collections, owning or wanting to open their own boutique Legal Firm in Spain. Pre-court collections are managed by a team of paralegals. You will be responsible for filing batches of court cases to collect compensation and/or reimbursement of Out-of-Pocket Expenses (OPE) incurred by passengers and/or recover ticket refunds. AirAdvisor currently handles three types of claims: EU261 compensation for flight delays, cancellations, and denied boarding. Within the next few weeks, we will also launch baggage claims (delayed or lost).

If the law or judge decides the case unfairly, we would consider escalating this to change the law, if feasible.

There may be PR opportunities regarding court victories and legal issues to bring to public awareness. This is an excellent opportunity for high performers who are able to self-perform, have strong litigation experience, and are passionate about advocating consumer rights in the airline industry.

You must be free from conflicts of interest, meaning you are free to litigate claims against different airlines.

  • A law degree from an accredited institution.
  • Experience with small claims, consumer rights, or aviation law is a plus but not required.

  • Proven track record of successful in-court collection.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess case merits, conduct legal research, and develop effective legal strategies.
  • Ability to manage a caseload, prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and track statute of limitations.
  • Experience in automating and standardizing claims management processes to scale up quickly.
Responsibilities
  • Preparing and filing batches of cases in courts against different airlines, responding to airline legal defenses.
  • Leading enforcement of court decisions, if necessary.
  • Legal research & developing best legal practices.
  • Negotiating in-court settlements, if any.
  • Maintaining accurate case records, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.
  • Staying updated on consumer protection laws, aviation regulations, and legal precedents.
