ABB's Robotics team in Madrigalejo del Monte, Burgos, Spain, invites a Quality Technician to join the QA function. You will deploy the quality system, perform audits, establish controls, and report KPIs.

You will work with Production and Engineering to drive quality improvements, manage supplier non-conformities, handle incoming control instructions, and maintain process documentation for continuous improvement.

Formación

• 2 years of experience as Quality Technician with mechanical or electronic products.
• Knowledge of quality tools and quality management systems for industrial scenarios.
• Intermediate English (B1) required.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out audits of components according to incoming control instructions.
• Launch supplier complaints when non-conformities arise and track corrective actions.
• Manage incoming control instructions and supplier component returns.
• Supervise inspection, sorting and rework of supplied parts.
• Support quality assurance with production, engineering and other functions.
• Report quality issues and KPIs promptly to local process owners.
• Use measurement systems to produce data reflecting material and process characteristics.

Make it your story.This position reports to Global Quality ManagerYour Role and ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to assist the Quality team in implementing and maintaining a quality system, including conducting audits, establishing controls, training on tools and methodologies. Each day, you will support activities related to quality management within the organizational unit. You will also showcase your expertise by reporting quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and customer cases and maintaining process documentation.The work model for the role is: onsite (Madrigalejo del Monte, Burgos, Spain).The Quality Technician has the role of deploying and facilitating the quality culture in Autonomous Mobile Robotics (AMR) conducting audits, establishing controls, training on tools and methodologies, reporting quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and maintaining process documentation. In this role you will provide assistance with and maintain the quality management system, managing all aspects in line with guidance from ABB Group/division/business areaIn this role, you’ll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact.Carry out audits of components according to the incoming control instructions. In the event of a deviation, take corrective action.Launch complaints to supplier when non-conformity arises and follows the corrective action plans.Receives and manages components returned from manufacturing unit intended to analyze with suppliers.Creates and manages incoming control instructions.Supervises control, sorting and rework operations of supplied parts, and participates if necessary.Supports quality assurance activities in collaboration with local Production, Engineering, and other relevant functions.Reports quality issues data, ensuring adherence to quality management system at all stages.Acquires and reports quality metrics and KPIs accurately and in a timely manner to facilitate the analysis and management of local processes.Utilizes measurement systems to produce data that reflect the accurate characteristics of materials, products, systems, and processes.Our Team DynamicsOur teams support each other, collaborate, and never stop learning.
