Job summary
Westinghouse Electric Company in Madrid, Spain invites applications for a Simulator Operation Engineer. You will ensure high-fidelity simulators used to train licensed nuclear power plant operators perform as intended, interfacing with operations, engineering analysis and simulation technology.
You will report to the Simulator Operational Support Manager, based at our Madrid headquarters in San Sebastián de los Reyes.
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering (Nuclear, Energy, Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical).
- Knowledge in nuclear energy, power generation, or complex industrial systems and simulation tools.
- Proficiency in Portuguese, Spanish and English.
- Driver's license
- Ability to travel
Responsibilities
- Perform verification, validation, and acceptance testing on full-scope nuclear power plant simulators.
- Compare simulator performance with plant reference data and procedures.
- Investigate discrepancies and collaborate with specialists to implement solutions.
- Contribute to modernization, upgrade, FAT and SAT campaigns.
- Prepare clear technical reports, test records and engineering documentation.
- Work with international teams across simulation, modeling, systems, controls and instrumentation.
- Support technical meetings, customer demonstrations, audits and regulatory inspections.
