Job summary

Wipro Limited is expanding its SW QA Engineer team in Madrid. The role focuses on building robust test automation, integrating Python-based scripts with CI/CD and improving test coverage across hardware-software interfaces.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in QA, strong Python skills, Linux command-line proficiency and experience with test infrastructures such as Git, Jenkins, and JIRA. Hybrid work in Madrid with some office presence is supported.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in QA engineering or software testing.
• Strong Python programming for test automation and scripting.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and CI/CD.
• Hardware-software integration and end-to-end test execution.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems and command line usage.

Responsibilities

• Modify test systems and add functionality to cover more scenarios.
• Increase test coverage and resolve regressions; improve infrastructure.
• Identify automation opportunities to improve product quality.
• Increase capacity and efficiency of tests and test setups.
• Troubleshoot, triage and debug issues across layers.
