Siemens Digital Industries Software is seeking a Digital Icon Artist / Illustrator to join our internal product design team. You will develop clear, polished experiences for our engineering software, creating 2D/3D icons and UI artwork that translate complex concepts into intuitive visuals.

You will work with a globally distributed UX team across multiple internal groups, applying established visual systems while collaborating with product managers, developers, and documentation writers.

Formación

• Validated experience in traditional art, illustration, and 3D modeling.
• Portfolio demonstrating strong visual craftsmanship, attention to detail, and iconography.
• Examples of problem-solving through ideation using traditional or digital sketching and renderings.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Figma.
• Experience with Blender or a similar 3D modeling tool.
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsabilidades

• Create polished 2D and 3D icons, glyphs, technical drawings, and UI artwork for commercial engineering software products.
• Translate technical concepts into intuitive, visually clear icons and artwork.
• Apply established visual systems and art direction to produce consistent, high-quality assets.
• Gather requirements from product teams and stakeholders to understand design needs and constraints.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, designers, QA testers, field teams, and others across internal teams.
• Present design rationale clearly and incorporate feedback from stakeholders.
