IONOS Group in Madrid is seeking an execution-driven Backend Engineer to transform architectural specs into production-ready Node.js and C++ code. You will optimize a hybrid system, leverage AI tools, and collaborate with architecture roles to push performance and quality.

You will work in a fast-paced international team, with hybrid offices across Alcobendas, Valencia, Barcelona, Sevilla or Logroño, and a flexible compensation package.

Formación

• Strong Node.js development experience.
• Ability to read, understand, and debug C++ code.
• Experience in Linux environments.
• Familiarity with Docker, Make, and CMake.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools.

Responsabilidades

• Develop backend components in Node.js and high-performance integrations with C++.
• Translate technical specifications into functional solutions and accurately implement them.
• Use AI tools to accelerate development, validation, and code improvement.
• Apply test-driven approaches to ensure robustness and stability.
• Manage and optimize build environments (Docker, Make, CMake).
• Analyze system performance and identify bottlenecks, especially in Node.js–C++ interactions.
• Refactor legacy code into clean, maintainable, high-performance solutions.
• Collaborate closely with architecture roles to continually improve the system.
