AECOM is seeking an experienced Transmission & Distribution Technical Lead to drive HV/EHV substation projects. You will act as the technical authority for primary substation engineering, protection, and control systems, ensuring safe, compliant and high-quality design across projects.

You will guide multidisciplinary teams through all project phases, coordinating with clients and suppliers to deliver large-scale infrastructure programs and grid reinforcements.

Qualifications

• Degree in electrical engineering.
• Experience in HV primary substation engineering including protection and control engineering.
• Proven experience delivering large transmission or distribution substation projects across multiple phases.
• Demonstrated experience providing technical leadership and governance across engineering teams.
• Experience supporting major infrastructure programs and multidisciplinary project delivery.

• Guide design through concept, FEED, detailed design, and commissioning.
• Lead engineering reviews and ensure compliance with standards.
• Coordinate across primary, secondary, civil, and commissioning disciplines.
