W Hotels in Barcelona is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to respond to guest repair requests, perform preventive maintenance on building systems, and keep equipment in optimal condition.

The role requires basic knowledge across air conditioning, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry and related trades, with a focus on safety and service standards. You will work closely with the engineering team to maintain guest comfort and property integrity.

Formación

• Some experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation and painting.
• Experience in hotel engineering or maintenance is required.
• Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Respond to guest repair requests and resolve maintenance issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools and building equipment, including coatings and fixtures.
• Test, troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
• Maintain maintenance inventory and document activities for shifts and reporting.
