Job summary

Pillar is seeking a Head of Product to lead and grow a PM team, owning roadmap, metrics, and cross-functional alignment. You will set KPI-driven governance, build dashboards, and ensure predictable delivery in a fast-growing SaaS environment.

Based in Barcelona or willing to relocate, you will shape how Pillar plans, measures and ships its product, collaborating closely with design, engineering and our CTO in an AI-native setup.

Qualifications

• Started as an engineer and can discuss architecture, estimates and trade-offs with engineers.
• Experience in B2B SaaS with complex workflows and multiple user personas.
• Led product teams through scaling a product and roadmap after PMF.
• Experience directly managing product managers and coaching growth.
• Data-driven: defines metrics, builds dashboards, writes SQL.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow our product managers, who report directly to you.
• Define KPIs for every module and align with company goals.
• Build and maintain product dashboards: adoption, usage, performance, CSAT.
• Monitor goals, identify gaps, and drive closure with teams.
• Own the product organisation's scope, quality and predictability.

Pillar was founded in 2025. Today, we are 90+ people, serve 1000+ customers, raised €15.2M (pre-seed and seed round) and are expanding internationally.

We are building the financial operating system for construction: bringing AI, automation and modern software to an enormous industry still full of slow, fragmented processes.

We are looking for a Head of Product who started as an engineer, loves helping a product team keep its promises and wants to grow a team of product managers.

The mission

Make the roadmap something the whole company can count on: lead our PMs, own how product plans, measures and ships, and keep product, design and engineering on one vision, side by side with our CTO.

What you will do

• Lead and grow our product managers, who report directly to you.

• Define the KPIs for every product module and show how they ladder up to company goals.

• Build and look after the product dashboards the whole company relies on: adoption, usage, performance and CSAT.

• Follow the product teams' goals closely, spot gaps early and work with the teams on how to close them.

• Own what the product organisation ships: scope, quality and predictability.

• Deliver the roadmap on time, raising risks and trade-offs before a deadline slips.

• Run the rituals that keep design, engineering and product aligned, and change them when they stop helping.

Who we are looking for

Engineers at heart who lead with data and care about people

• You started as an engineer and can talk architecture, estimates and trade-offs with engineering as a peer.

• You have experience in B2B SaaS, with complex workflows and multiple user personas.

• You have lived a 1 to 10 phase: scaling a product, its roadmap and its team after product-market fit.

• You have managed product managers directly and love seeing people grow.

• You are data-driven for real: you define metrics, build dashboards and write your own SQL.

• You have a track record of predictable delivery across multiple teams, and of rituals people found useful.

• You give clear and kind feedback and bring calm and clarity when things get messy.

• You are AI-native: AI is already part of how you work and how you build.

• Fluent English. Based in Barcelona or happy to relocate.

• Nice to have: PostHog and Linear, AI or LLM-powered features, ERP, fintech or vertical SaaS, construction, Italian or Spanish.
