A global mobile ad-tech company seeks a strategic leader for monetization. This pivotal role demands over 8 years of experience in mobile ad monetization and revenue strategy, focusing on optimizing ad revenue and driving product evolution. You will lead a cross-functional team, utilizing a data-driven approach to enhance performance across thousands of apps. We’re partnering with a well-funded global mobile ad-tech company that has already assembled exceptional technical and product talent and proven market traction. They operate at scale, process huge volumes of in-app data, and give mobile publishers smarter monetization and advertising capabilities.
The business foundation is built and backed; now they need the leader who can amplify it into the next era of growth and revenue performance.
Lead the company’s full monetization strategy, covering ad-revenue optimization, demand partnerships, price logic, ad placement intelligence, and product-driven yield performance
Translate data into decisions that move revenue (fast and accurately) without losing sight of long-term strategic leverage
Shape how the platform monetizes mobile traffic through : Ad performance modeling, bid and floor price strategies, A / B frameworks for placement testing, waterfall and hybrid monetization optimization, demand source evaluation and expansion
Manage, grow, and guide a cross‑functional team of monetization, data, and product specialists, helping them scale both results and execution quality
Partner with product and engineering leaders to influence roadmap priorities, ensuring the monetization layer is smart, data‑led, and integrated into core platform decisions
Present strategic insights directly to executive stakeholders; clear, persuasive, and grounded in data.
8+ years driving mobile ad‑monetization, revenue product strategy, or programmatic advertising, ideally on the platform or publisher side
Proven experience owning monetization outcomes for high‑traffic mobile environments, not just advising on them
A deep understanding of : Programmatic ad ecosystems, mediation platforms and demand dynamics, eCPM optimization, waterfall vs. bidding strategies, in‑app advertising formats and placement behavior, revenue impact of pricing logic (floors, fill rate, yield tradeoffs, seasonal shifts, etc.)
Strong leadership ability; someone who can build alignment across teams, ship strategy into product reality, and elevate the people around them
A reputation for thinking in experiments and results, not buzzwords
The mindset to balance commercial impact, data, product direction, and team excellence at once.
Familiarity with BI platforms, analytics engines, or ad‑SDK demand integration
Experience refining machine‑driven placement optimization or predictive monetization models
Cloud‑first product monetization experience
Prior experience leading monetization teams through hypergrowth.
