The Head of Operations Spain is accountable of the End-to-End Logistics Operations of Airbus Helicopters in Spain with the objective to continuously drive operational excellence, to meet internal & external customer needs and to achieve benchmark competitiveness of Airbus Helicopters Global Logistics set up. The Head of Logistics Operations drives end-to-end performance in performance monitoring and improvement and customer’s satisfaction. The Head of Logistics Operations develops the competence of the team towards logistics encompassing the implementation. The first 3 years of this role will focus on launching the Albacete Hub, a strategic pillar of the company's growth. There are 3 phases: preparation for the entry into service, start and ramp-up of activities and serial stabilization.
Manage primary Spanish logistics platforms in Albacete, Chinchilla, and Almansa, driving operational efficiency across the regional supply chain.
Direct Logistics Service Provider (LSP) relationships and performance, successfully administering a €20M annual logistics contract.
Ensure uninterrupted service delivery and supply chain continuity for critical internal stakeholders, including Final Assembly Lines, Flight Lines, Centers of Excellence, and Support & Services.
Coordinate global distribution networks, overseeing worldwide shipments while ensuring on-time delivery and international compliance.
