Qualifications

Responsibilities

Greycoat Lumleys is seeking an exceptional, international Head of Household for a significant private residence in Marbella, Spain. Managing a home of five and leading a team of 20 staff, this is the most senior operational position within the household. It requires an elite, hands-on professional capable of maintaining immaculate standards with absolute discretion.

Role Overview

• Position: Head of Household

• Location: Marbella, Spain (International search / relocation required)

• Employment: Full-time, resident position

• Salary: €150,000 - €170,000 gross per annum (DOE)

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Manage, schedule, and mentor a multidisciplinary 20-person domestic and external team. (not all direct reports)

• Financial Management: Prepare and monitor substantial household operating budgets and expenditure controls.

• Hands-on Service: Maintain immaculate property presentation and personally assist with guest hospitality or housekeeping when required.

• Property Maintenance: Establish and oversee a proactive, preventative maintenance programme with external contractors.

• Event Coordination: Manage logistics, staffing, and smooth execution for private family dinners and special occasions.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience: Proven track record as a Head of Household or Estate Manager within international UHNW residences.

• References: Must be fluid, verifiable and contactable family or household references

• Skills: Highly financially literate, digitally capable, and possesses strong administrative skills.

• Languages: Fluent English is essential; additional languages are highly desirable.

• Logistics: Valid driving licence and eligibility to work in Spain.

• Attributes: Absolute discretion, exceptional attention to detail, and a naturally proactive problem-solver.

• Driver: Clean Driving License
