Mindmatch busca un líder de Operaciones de Ciberseguridad para supervisar la ejecución técnica de capacidades de seguridad, protegiendo activos digitales y asegurando detección, respuesta y recuperación.

El rol coordina SOC, CSIRT, detección de amenazas e ingeniería de seguridad, trabajando conforme a políticas y estrategia establecidas, con posibilidad de desarrollo del equipo y crecimiento profesional.

Formación

• Título universitario en Ciberseguridad o campo relacionado.
• Estudios de posgrado en Ciberseguridad o Gestión de Riesgos es una ventaja.
• Certificaciones en ciberseguridad (p. ej. CISSP, CISM, GIAC) valoradas.

Responsabilidades

• Monitorear redes, sistemas y entornos en la nube para detectar amenazas y eventos.
• Liderar actividades de CSIRT, incluyendo contención y recuperación.
• Traducir hallazgos en mejoras preventivas de seguridad.
• Implementar y gestionar herramientas y controles de ciberseguridad.
• Ejecutar iniciativas de ciberseguridad alineadas con la hoja de ruta y políticas.
• Desarrollar automatización para mejorar operaciones de seguridad.
• Definir y reportar KPIs operativos.

About the Role

Lead the Cybersecurity Operations function responsible for the technical execution of cybersecurity capabilities across the organization, ensuring protection, detection, response and recovery of digital assets.

This role owns the operational cybersecurity layer, including SOC, CSIRT, threat detection, incident response, security engineering and operational tooling, ensuring effective implementation of technical controls and cybersecurity capabilities in accordance with defined policies, standards and strategy.

The function operates in coordination with GRC governance requirements and PMO execution oversight processes to strengthen the organization’s security posture and operational resilience.

Manage and develop teams, being responsible for their development and professional growth and accountable for their impact on economic results, strategy and company’s image.

What You’ll Do

• Security Monitoring & SOC Operations: Govern SOC operations and oversee continuous monitoring of networks, systems, infrastructure and cloud environments to detect threats, anomalies and cybersecurity events.
• Incident Response & CSIRT: Lead and coordinate CSIRT activities, including incident containment, eradication, recovery and forensic analysis.
• Threat Detection & Preventive Improvements: Translate incident findings and threat intelligence into preventive security improvements, detection use cases and remediation actions.
• Security Engineering & Technical Implementation: Implement and manage cybersecurity tools, technical controls and operational security capabilities across enterprise systems, platforms and cloud environments.
• Project Execution & Integration: Execute cybersecurity initiatives and projects in alignment with the cybersecurity strategic roadmap, standards and policies, coordinating execution activities with PMO governance processes.
• Automation & Operational Improvement: Develop automation, orchestration and detection capabilities to improve operational efficiency and security effectiveness.
• Operational Metrics & Reporting: Define and manage operational KPIs and service performance metrics to support operational visibility and continuous improvement.

What We’re Looking For

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
• Postgraduate studies in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Risk Management or Business Administration are an advantage.
• Relevant certifications in cybersecurity operations, incident response or security management (e.g. CISSP, CISM, GIAC, GCIA, GCIH, CEH) are valued.

• English: Advanced (Must - have)
• Spanish: Advanced (Valuable)
• Other languages: Intermediate (Valuable)

Tools & Systems

• MS Office: Advanced (Must-have)

Experience

• 10+ years of experience in Cybersecurity Operations, SOC, CSIRT or Security Engineering roles within complex organizations.
• Proven experience leading security monitoring, incident response, threat detection and cybersecurity operational capabilities.
• Experience implementing cybersecurity tools, technical controls and security technologies across enterprise environments.
• Strong experience coordinating cybersecurity incidents and working with cross-functional teams (IT, Risk, Infrastructure, Legal, etc.).

Other Competences and Relevant Skills

• Strong leadership and operational coordination skills in cybersecurity environments.
• Solid understanding of SOC operations, incident response, threat detection and security tooling.
• Ability to manage cybersecurity incidents and drive operational improvements in fast-paced environments.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with technical and business stakeholders.
