The Head – Asset Management is responsible for leading Sanad Capital’s engine asset portfolio to maximize commercial value and operational efficiency across the asset lifecycle. The role oversees engine valuation, acquisition, teardown, and parts trading activities, ensuring alignment with Sanad Capital’s financial, technical, and strategic objectives. The position drives commercial excellence, builds strategic partnerships, ensures policy compliance, and contributes to long-term business growth and performance.
Minimum Qualifications: (Education/Certification/Licensure/Professional Membership)
Develops and implements strategic and operational plans for the business unit, aligning KPIs, resourcing needs, and milestones with Sanad Capital’s long-term objectives. Continuously reviews performance data and market trends to update plans, drive portfolio growth, and ensure executive oversight alignment with Mubadala standards.
Establishes and manages business policies and processes related to asset management, procurement, risk, and quality assurance. Ensures compliance with financial controls, corporate governance frameworks, and budgetary requirements to maintain operational integrity and efficiency.
Demonstrates deep understanding of the aviation and leasing industries, including global and regional financial markets, OEM maintenance programs, and Mubadala’s strategic direction. Applies this knowledge to guide asset valuations, acquisitions, and portfolio decisions.
Leads the identification, development, and closure of commercial opportunities through relationship management and market engagement. Oversees deal evaluation, cost estimation, and due diligence, ensuring recommendations align with market indicators, company strategy, and financial performance goals.
Applies advanced financial modelling, valuation, and analytical techniques to support sound investment decisions, deal structuring, and business case development. Ensures strong financial discipline across asset transactions and portfolio management.
Provides direction, motivation, and coaching to the team to achieve defined KPIs and strategic objectives. Fosters accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement while developing Emirati talent and building a high-performing asset management team.
