Sener Aerospace and Defence is seeking a HW Design and Development Engineer for our Madrid (Tres Cantos) work centre. You will design electronics for space and defence, run analyses, and define verification and test plans in a multidisciplinary, international setting.

Qualificações

• Degree in electronics, telecom or industrial engineering.
• Proven experience in developing electronics (analog, power, processing, digital).
• Skills in schematic capture, analysis and simulation.
• EEE knowledge: parts selection, qualification, handling, reliability.
• Knowledge of Python, C, C++, Matlab basics.
• Willingness to follow defence/space standards.
• Interest in data analytics, model-based engineering, cross-collaboration tools.
• Collaborative, proactive attitude and good communication.

Responsabilidades

• Detailed design of electronics boards for space and defence applications.
• Preparation of design analyses and simulations (performance, FMEA, parts stress).
• Definition of verification, test and integration plans/procedures.
• Debugging, integration, characterization and testing of the designed functions.

Sener Aerospace and Defence is currently looking for HW Design and Development Engineer at our work centre in Madrid (Tres Cantos). We are a pioneering engineering company in the design of satellite technology and equipment for space exploration. In defence, we design and produce equipment and systems, including unmanned systems. What you will do:

• Detailed design of Electronics boards and/or equipment for space and defence applications
• Preparation of design related analysis and simulations (performance, FMEA, Parts stress)
• Definition of verification, test and integration plans/procedures
• Debugging, integration, characterization and testing of the designed functions
• Preparation of related documentation: design documents, and review support data package

What we expect from you:

• Degree in Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering and/or industrial engineering
• Proven experience in developing electronics (analog, power, processing, digital…)
• Skills in the use of electronic design related tools: schematics capture, analysis and simulation…
• Background on EEE related knowledge (parts selection, qualification/certification, handling, use and implementation, reliability…)
• Knowledge on other related areas (programming in Python, C, C++…, VHDL knowledge, basic notions of Matlab, basic notions of thermal concepts..)
• Desirable: familiar with defence or space usual development standards and normative
• Willingness and readiness for digital/connected industry: data analytics, processes automatization, cross-collaboration tools, Model-based engineering…
• A person driven towards a traceable and rigorous job
• Focused on team working: cooperative and generous spirit, empathic
• Good communication, reporting and documentation skills
• Autonomous and proactive attitude with capabilities for the troubleshooting and diagnosis
• Interest for other related areas: communications, Navigation and Control, SW…
