Job summary

SAF Helicópteros España in Catalonia, Spain is seeking a qualified Pilot in Command to lead HEMS missions aboard the Airbus H145 D3. The role requires extensive PIC hours, a type rating, and medical and language prerequisites, with opportunities to work within an established international aviation group.

Candidates should hold an EASA CPL(H) or ATPL(H), an EASA Class 1 Medical, fluent Spanish, and English at ICAO Level 4 or higher.

Qualifications

• Fluent Spanish – mandatory
• English – ICAO Level 4 minimum
• Valid EASA CPL(H) or ATPL(H)
• Valid H145 D3 type rating
• 1,500 hours total flight time
• 1,000 hours PIC
• 50 hours night flight experience
• EASA Class 1 Medical Certificate
• Eligibility to live and work in Spain

SAF Helicópteros España is recruiting a qualified Pilot in Command (PIC) to join our Helicopter Emergency Medical Services (HEMS) operations in Catalonia, Spain.

Join a dedicated aviation team delivering critical, life-saving emergency medical services in a dynamic and rewarding operational environment.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

1,500 hours total flight time

1,000 hours Pilot in Command (PIC)

50 hours night flight experience

Valid Airbus H145 D3 type rating

Valid EASA CPL(H) or ATPL(H)

Valid EASA Class 1 Medical Certificate

Fluent Spanish – mandatory

English – minimum ICAO Level 4

Eligibility to live and work in Spain
