Job summary

Contractair Ltd. seeks B1/B2 Gulfstream engineers in Madrid, Spain, to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on Gulfstream aircraft in accordance with regulatory requirements and manufacturer specifications.

You will troubleshoot airframe, engine, and avionics defects per licence, carry out inspections, tests, and repairs, and certify aircraft for release to service while maintaining detailed technical documentation.

Qualifications

• Valid EASA Part-66 B1 or B2 Licence.
• Type rating on Gulfstream aircraft (200, GIV, GE).
• Proven experience in line or base maintenance of Gulfstream aircraft.
• Strong understanding of aviation safety, regulatory compliance, and documentation procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings and service bulletins.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on Gulfstream aircraft in accordance with regulatory requirements and manufacturer specifications.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and rectify defects on airframe, engine, and/or avionics systems depending on licence category (B1 or B2).
• Carry out inspections, tests, and repairs.
• Prepare and certify aircraft for release to service.
• Maintain accurate and detailed maintenance documentation and technical reports.
• Ensure all tasks are performed in line with safety regulations, quality standards, and company procedures.
• Collaborate with maintenance supervisors, planners, and other engineering staff to ensure timely aircraft availability.
• Provide guidance and technical support to junior engineers and technicians.
