Wipro Limited is seeking an experienced GUI QA Engineer in Madrid. The role is hybrid (Tue-Thu in Madrid, two days remote). You will contribute to expanding the UI test framework, automate test coverage, and ensure robust GUI testing for desktop and web applications.

Required 5+ years of experience, Playwright preferred, Python/Java programming, and CI/CD familiarity. English language skills are essential; join a diverse, inclusive team at Wipro.

• 5+ years of experience in GUI QA or test automation.
• Experience with UI automation frameworks (Playwright preferred) and Page Object Model design.
• Programming experience in Python or Java.
• GUI testing for desktop/web apps, regression testing.
• CI/CD experience with Jenkins and GitHub Actions, Git, and automated test execution.
• Defect management with JIRA, bug reporting and root-cause analysis.
• Proficiency in English.

Position: GUI QA Engineering

Location: Madrid, Spain

Work Setting: Hybrid work mode; Tue-Thu from the office in Madrid and 2 days remote. Probably all 5 days in office until ramp up is completed.

Experience: 5+ years of experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and expand the UI test framework for GUI applications.
• Help to identify opportunities for automation, and support efforts to increase test coverage
• Support efforts to increase test coverage

Required Skills & Experience:

UI Automation: Selenium or Playwright (Strong preference for Playwright), UI Automation Framework Design, Page Object Model (POM), TestNG/JUnit/PyTest

Programming: Python or Java, Automation scripting, OOP concepts

GUI Testing: Desktop/Web GUI testing, UI validation, User workflow testing, Regression testing

CI/CD: Jenkins/GitHub Actions, Git, Automated test execution

Defect Management: JIRA, Bug reporting, Root cause analysis

Languages: English
