Ubique Systems in Madrid, Spain is seeking a QA Automation Engineer with 5+ years of experience to enhance our UI test framework for GUI applications.

The role focuses on UI automation using Playwright (preferred) or Selenium, building robust test suites in Python or Java, and contributing to test coverage across desktop and web interfaces in a hybrid work model (office Tue-Thu in Madrid, remaining days remote).

Formación

• UI Automation with Selenium or Playwright, strong preference for Playwright.
• UI Automation Framework Design and Page Object Model (POM).
• Programming in Python or Java; automation scripting; OOP concepts.
• Desktop and Web GUI testing, UI validation, user workflow testing, and regression testing.
• CI/CD with Jenkins or GitHub Actions; Git; automated test execution.
• Defect management with JIRA, bug reporting, and root cause analysis.

Location: Madrid, Spain

Work Setting: Hybrid work mode; Tue-Thu from the office in Madrid and 2 days remote. Probably all 5 days in office until ramp up is completed.

Experience: 5+ years of experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and expand the UI test framework for GUI applications.
• Help to identify opportunities for automation, and support efforts to increase test coverage
• Support efforts to increase test coverage

Required Skills & Experience:

UI Automation: Selenium or Playwright (Strong preference for Playwright), UI Automation Framework Design, Page Object Model (POM), TestNG/JUnit/PyTest

Programming: Python or Java, Automation scripting, OOP concepts

GUI xqysrnh Testing: Desktop/Web GUI testing, UI validation, User workflow testing, Regression testing

CI/CD: Jenkins/GitHub Actions, Git, Automated test execution

Defect Management: JIRA, Bug reporting, Root cause analysis
