Hispasat in Madrid is seeking a Ground Segment Subcontractor Manager to lead contractual set-up, work plans and execution of project activities for the IRIS² initiative, ensuring schedule, cost and quality alignment.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical or Aerospace Engineering, 10+ years in project management within space or related domains, and strong MS Project and Agile experience; English fluent, EU secret clearance willingness.

Formación

• Master’s Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• PMP certification is positively evaluated.
• 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in project management covering systems and HW and/or SW engineering within space, ground or similar domains with management and leadership skills.
• Experience in Subcontractor management.
• Experience in Contractual Management.
• Knowledge and experience in management tools such as MSProject and Agile methodology.
• Good presentation and communication skills.
• Native to an EU member state and willing to undergo an EU secret clearance process.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Hispasat, as part of the SpaceRISE consortium, is responsible for the technical implementation and ensuring the success of the IRIS² project, leveraging its extensive experience in satellite communications. This collaboration is essential to provide secure and reliable high-performance communication solutions to the European Union and its member states.

To be part of this project, we are looking for a Ground Segment Subcontractor Manager, whose responsibilities will be as follows:
