Greenvolt Power Spain is seeking a Grid Connection Engineer to support the growth of its utility-scale renewable portfolio. You will lead interconnection design, permitting, and interface with TSOs/DSOs across projects.

Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with grid codes, reviewing permits, performing power system studies, and coordinating with external consultants. A proactive, communicative engineer is essential.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in grid connection/interconnection engineering, preferably in renewables.
• Experience with TSOs/DSOs and utility interfaces.
• Proven exposure to utility-scale infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with grid codes, permitting processes, and environmental constraints.
• Knowledge of Digsilent Power Factory, PSCAD and power systems simulation software.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate grid connection solutions for regulatory compliance and grid codes.
• Review technical documentation and permits for grid interconnection infrastructure.
• Lead interconnection design and permitting activities across projects.
• Coordinate with TSOs and DSOs and negotiate grid connection agreements.
• Review and guide design of substations, lines, and interconnection infrastructure.
• Perform utility studies (power flow, short circuit, stability) and interpret results.
• Monitor permitting processes and ensure environmental constraints are met.
• Coordinate and supervise work delivered by external engineering consultants.
