Graduate Visual UI Designer

Join Canonical as a Visual UI Designer and help turn complex, open-source software into intuitive products.

What this role looks like

• Work on web projects with a multidisciplinary team of visual, UX designers, engineers and researchers.
• Design brand experiences across events, offices, digital and social assets.
• Translate current design thinking into polished visual work that aligns with Ubuntu and Canonical brands.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to bring ideas to life and iterate based on user feedback.

What we’re looking for

• Excellent academic record.
• Bachelor’s or equivalent in Art / Design.
• Exceptional design talent with experience in branding, visual identities and brand experiences.
