UPC BarcelonaTECH invites applications for a First Stage Researcher (R1) in the Department of Computer Architecture to work on the project Domain-specific architectures for energy-efficient computer systems II. You will expand and improve GPU evaluation tools, characterize GPU architectures for performance and power, design and evaluate new GPU architectures, and document, publish and present results.

Requirements include a Bachelor degree, knowledge of computer systems and graphics processor

Formación

• Knowledge: Computer systems architectures.
• Knowledge: Graphics processor architectures.
• Professional Experience: Design and evaluation of microarchitectures (GPUs).
• Languages: ENGLISH Level Good

Responsabilidades

• Expand and improve GPU evaluation tools.
• Characterize existing GPU architectures in terms of performance and power consumption.
• Design, model and evaluate new GPU architectures.
• Document, publish and present the results.
