Job summary

PCI Pharma Services in León, Spain, seeks a Principal Engineer for Global Technical Operations, Engineering & Innovation to lead Front End Engineering Design for aseptic fill/lyophilization facilities and mentor site engineering teams.

You will drive segment standards, governance, Lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement, collaborating with senior leadership to align projects with business goals while ensuring safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering and PMP certification required.
• Masters degree in Engineering preferred.
• Minimum 15 years experience in cGMP related engineering, facilities clean utilities and/or plant utilities in biotech/pharma.
• Experience with aseptic processing (aseptic filling, lyophilization, isolated/RABS environments) is required.

Responsibilities

• Be SME in aseptic sterile fill finishing and lyophilization operations.
• Lead Front End Engineering Design efforts to develop project scopes, cost estimates, and schedules.
• Manage external engineering partners and internal cross functional teams to deliver FEED.
• Develop and implement segment engineering standards and governance to drive consistency.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement across the segment.
• Lead site Master Planning and site asset assessments across the segment.

Education

BS in Chemical, Mechanical, or other Engineering

PMP certification or similar accreditation

Masters degree in Engineering
