Enza Zaden is seeking a Head of Breeding Tomato to lead global Mid-Tech tomato breeding programs from Spain. You will shape strategy, drive innovation, and align science with market needs while managing large, international teams.

The role requires a Master’s in Plant Science and 12–15+ years in breeding/R&D leadership, with fluency in English and willingness to travel. You will partner across functions to deliver cutting-edge breeding capabilities and strong performance for key customers.

Formación

• Master’s degree in Plant Science or related field.
• Proven strategic leadership capabilities across regions and cultures.
• Strong financial and business acumen with resource alignment.
• Excellent stakeholder management at senior leadership level.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and develop large, global breeding organizations with strong leadership and succession.
• Define and drive breeding strategy translating market needs into direction and priorities.
• Own strategic planning and execution of Tomato Mid-Tech aligned with multi‑year objectives.
• Steer high‑impact breeding programs and project portfolios for strategic priorities.
• Drive innovation adoption and capability development with R&D functions.
• Operate as a senior stakeholder leader, aligning across crops and functions to maximize performance.
• Represent breeding internally and externally to strengthen Enza Zaden’s position.
