Opdenergy, a growing independent renewable energy producer, seeks an Energy Storage Market Analyst to join the Energy Storage team and report to the Global Head of Energy Storage. You will study energy markets, develop revenue models for standalone storage and hybrid assets, and support investment decisions.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in renewables, strong financial modelling skills, and proficiency in Python or MATLAB.

Formación

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field and relevant renewable energy experience.
2+ years in renewables or energy markets.
Strong financial modeling and market analysis skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration across teams.

Responsabilidades

Develop and maintain revenue models for standalone energy storage and hybrid assets.
Analyze global energy markets, contract structures, price dynamics and revenue streams.
Monitor regulatory and technological developments in energy markets.
Maintain relationships with market consultants and challenge their assumptions.
Conduct sensitivity analyses and risk assessments to support investments.
Develop trading and market participation strategies for storage assets.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize model performance and asset operations.
Provide data-driven strategic insights to senior management.
