Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing electronic components.
• Strong knowledge of electronic components, manufacturers, and distribution channels.
• Experience with national and international suppliers and distributors.
• Ability to read BOMs and technical specifications.
• Experience using ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Fluency in Spanish and a high level of English, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Electronics, Engineering or related field valued.

Responsabilités

• Manage the purchasing and sourcing of electronic components (semiconductors, PCBs, resistors, capacitors, connectors).
• Identify, evaluate, and develop relationships with manufacturers, distributors, and international suppliers.
• Negotiate prices, lead times, minimum order quantities, and other terms to optimize costs.
• Manage purchase orders, confirmations, and deliveries to ensure continuous material supply.
• Source alternative components and suppliers with Engineering and Quality teams.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production and Quality to meet specs and purchasing needs.
• Analyze purchasing costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction and supplier optimization.
• Maintain supplier information, pricing, and lead times in the ERP system; monitor performance and issues.
