**This role can be based in London or Dublin or Madrid**
**This role requires fluency (speaking, reading, and writing) in German - as you'll drive quality across Alexa+'s multilingual experience in 100+ countries.**

Alexa Global Quality is looking for experienced Customer Obsessed Quality Assurance Engineer who is able to innovate, design and deliver quality campaigns for Alexa customers around the world.
Our team works backward from our international customers across the globe to create authentically-native, delightful Alexa features in their language.
Key job responsibilities
* Own the everyday product quality for your workstream
* Work with a team of Engineering and Product professionals to ensure the highest quality product is delivered against defined milestones.
* Monitor production trends and take action to improve the customer experience
* Evaluate device and Alexa functionality, create and own test strategies that are highly-relevant to your customers that validate the quality for Alexa features and devices
* Develop and contribute automation and other quality tooling that improves test-efficiency across a global organization.
* Raise, triage and bring to resolution of defects. Improve the everyday user experience for Alexa customers world-wide
* Communicate with a wide range of partners and stakeholders (engineering teams and product management) to report programme status, collect requirements, evaluate alternatives and develop processes and/or tools as needed to support the organization

You own quality campaigns, design and execute test strategies that prevent defects and bad customer experiences from reaching our customers.
You advocate on behalf of our customers to improve the experience - no matter where they are or language they speak.
About the team
We take on the unique challenge of internationalizing Alexa features and devices for our customers. We deeply understand the linguistic, cultural and technical nuances that enable Alexa to delight customers everyday in an authentically-native way, across different cultures, languages and locations.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience in quality assurance engineering
- Experience developing high quality test plans, test designs, test strategies, and test execution
- Experience as QA lead on medium to large sized projects
- Experience working closely with development and business teams to communicate problem impacts and to understand business requirements
- Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems
- Experience scripting or coding
- Experience in automation testing
- Experience in manual testing
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with at least one automated test framework like Selenium or Appium
- Experience in gathering test requirements to create detailed test plans and defining quality metrics to measure product quality

Cpl Life Sciences is partnering with a leading international pharmaceutical organisation to recruit a CMO QA Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced quality professional to take ownership of quality oversight activities across a global network of Contract Manufacturing Organisations (CMOs) and external partners.

Working within a highly visible international quality function, you will play a key role in ensuring GMP compliance, driving quality excellence, and supporting the delivery of safe, high-quality products to patients worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide quality oversight for assigned CMOs and external manufacturing partners.
• Lead and support GMP audits across contract manufacturers, suppliers, and service providers.
• Oversee quality systems activities including deviations, CAPAs, change controls, and investigations.
• Conduct quality risk assessments and drive effective risk mitigation strategies in line with ICH Q9 principles.
• Review and approve critical investigations, ensuring robust root cause analysis and sustainable CAPA implementation.
• Support regulatory inspection readiness and interactions with agencies including FDA, EMA, and MHRA.
• Provide quality leadership for technology transfers, process validation, PPQ, and new product introductions.
• Lead supplier qualification and ongoing quality performance management activities.
• Monitor quality metrics and compliance trends to identify and address emerging risks.
• Support quality governance forums and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Candidate Profile

• Significant experience within pharmaceutical quality assurance and GMP‑regulated manufacturing environments.
• Proven experience supporting external manufacturing operations, supplier quality, or CMO oversight activities.
• Strong understanding of GMP requirements, quality systems, investigations, CAPAs, and risk management methodologies.
• Experience supporting regulatory inspections and audit programmes.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and build strong relationships across internal and external partner networks.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.

Highly Desirable

• Experience within sterile manufacturing, aseptic processing, biologics, or Annex 1 environments.
• Expertise in sterility assurance, contamination control strategies (CCS), and data integrity.
• Experience supporting technology transfers, product launches, validation, and complex supply chains.
