We are looking for a driven German-speaking Google Ads Account Manager to join our hybrid team in Barcelona. In this role, you will combine your expertise in digital marketing with strong client management skills to deliver high-impact PPC campaigns and help clients achieve their advertising goals.

You will work as a trusted advisor for a portfolio of new clients, guiding them through campaign setup, optimization, and strategy to maximize their results. While previous experience in sales or marketing is an advantage, ambitious candidates eager to learn and grow in digital advertising are also encouraged to apply.

This position is hybrid, requiring two days in the Barcelona office and three days of remote work.

Role Overview

As a Google Ads Account Manager, you will manage client accounts, develop and optimize PPC campaigns, and identify opportunities to increase account performance. You will work closely with clients to understand their business objectives, provide tailored solutions, and ensure campaigns deliver both immediate results and sustainable long-term growth. Daily responsibilities will include client outreach, strategic campaign management, and account growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Onboard and build strong relationships with a portfolio of new clients, acting as their trusted marketing advisor.
  • Plan, implement, and optimize Google Ads campaigns to align with client objectives and goals.
  • Conduct outbound calls to promote services, generate leads, and grow new business.
  • Understand clients’ needs and objectives, providing customized recommendations and solutions.
  • Create strategic, results-driven campaigns designed to deliver both short-term impact and long-term performance.
  • Drive account expansion through upselling and increased ad spend.
  • Track and analyze campaign performance, making data-driven recommendations for improvements.
  • Keep client records up to date, maintaining a complete and accurate customer database.
  • Handle a high volume of client interactions daily while maintaining professionalism and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure campaigns are executed successfully and meet client expectations.
Requirements
  • Fluent German (C2/native level)
  • Good English skills (B2 minimum) for internal communication and reporting
  • Previous experience in sales, marketing, or digital advertising is highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of Google Ads, PPC, and digital marketing strategies
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving capabilities
