Placements24 seeks an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead major infrastructure initiatives in León, Guanajuato. You will oversee planning, budgeting, scheduling, and cross-functional teams to ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery with a strong safety and quality focus.

The role requires 8+ years in construction PM, proficiency with MS Project/Primavera P6 and BIM, and excellent negotiation and communication skills. Travel to sites will be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
• Master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in construction project management, with a significant focus on infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience managing large-scale, complex construction projects from inception to completion.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership, team management, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6) and BIM technologies.
• Strong financial acumen and experience in budget management and cost control.
• Exceptional problem-solving, decision-making, and risk-management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to travel to project sites within the León, Guanajuato area as required.
• Knowledge of local building regulations and permitting processes in León, Guanajuato is highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of the construction project lifecycle, from planning and design to execution and closeout.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate and manage all project teams, including engineers, architects, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and quality standards on all project sites.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement timely solutions.
• Manage client relationships, ensuring clear communication and satisfaction throughout the project.
• Procure necessary materials, equipment, and services, and manage vendor contracts.
• Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings.
• Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, permits, and environmental regulations.
• Manage project finances, including cost control, invoicing, and payment processing.
• Foster a collaborative and productive working environment among project stakeholders.
