Q ENERGY is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to lead offshore wind geotechnical activities across bids and projects, from early development to detailed design. The role involves data integration, collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams and potential responsibility for geoscience packages globally.

Based in Europe with a focus on offshore wind projects, the engineer will report to the Offshore Wind Geoscience Manager and support design and certification activities across fixed and floating

Formación

• MSc degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering or equivalent.
• Proficient written and spoken English; ability to work with international stakeholders.
• 5+ years of practical geotechnical engineering experience on offshore wind projects.
• Experience in bottom-fixed foundations; floating offshore wind and anchor design is a plus.
• Knowledge of offshore geotechnical survey campaigns and RFQ processes.
• Experience in data integration and working with international standards.
• Strong project management capabilities for large site-investigation campaigns.
• Knowledge of geophysical and geotechnical data integration; geohazard registers.

Responsabilidades

• Geotechnical ownership as technical focal point and QA/QC of deliverables.
• Interface with design packages; provide soil data and geotechnical inputs for foundations and cables.
• Lead geoscience workstreams for bids or projects (fixed or floating).
• Réaliser the coordination of geotechnical surveys and data interpretation.
• Support R&D and internal tools development in geotechnical field.
• Collaborate with regulatory meetings and stakeholders to ensure compliance.
