Job summary

Nissan Technical Centre Europe is offering an AI Internship in Embedded Software Development to explore Generative AI technologies, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and AI Agents, and apply them to engineering workflows.

You will contribute to AI-guided solutions, work with Python, collaborate with engineers, and be supported by an international, multicultural team with a university internship agreement.

Qualifications

• Student pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science or related disciplines.
• Interest in Generative AI, LLMs, RAG architectures, AI Agents, Software Development.
• Programming knowledge in Python or similar languages.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of an AI-guided solution for Embedded Software Development based on current engineering processes.
• Support investigation and application of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) technologies to access technical information.
• Explore AI Agent technologies to assist software developers during design and development.
• Help define AI-based workflows for Model-Based Development (MBD) software components.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to identify opportunities for Generative AI deployment within existing processes.
• Document findings and recommendations for future AI deployment activities.

AI Internship for Embedded Software Development

Nissan Technical Centre Europe is looking for an AI Intern to support the exploration and application of Generative AI technologies within the Embedded Software Development area.

The internship will focus on the use of emerging AI technologies, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and AI Agents, to support software development activities and improve access to engineering knowledge and technical information.

Your Mission

Contribute to the development of an AI-guided solution for Embedded Software Development based on current engineering processes.

You will support activities related:

• Investigation and application of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) technologies to facilitate access to relevant technical information and engineering documentation.
• Exploration of AI Agent technologies to support software developers during design and development activities.
• Support the definition of AI-based workflows for Model-Based Development (MBD) software components.
• Work with engineering information sources, including development methodologies, design rules, templates, examples and software documentation.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to identify opportunities for the application of Generative AI technologies within existing development processes.
• Document findings and recommendations for future AI deployment activities.
