Job summary

The Adler Pelzer Group in Zaragoza, Spain is seeking a General Ledger Accountant fluent in English and Spanish to join our new Financial Centre of Excellence. You will support month-end closings, manage reconciliations and liaise with controllers and auditors in a manufacturing multinational environment.

Requirements include a finished degree in Accounting/Finance, SAP experience and fluency in Spanish or French.

Qualifications

• Finished Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or similar.
• Practical experience in accounting and finance administration advantageous.
• Experience from a large multinational, ideally automotive or other manufacturing company.
• SAP knowledge is beneficial for GL processing.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end closing operations and assist with time and schedules.
• Open and close modules; communicate with controllers and plants.
• Determine and communicate month end accruals (P.O., pensions, taxes, payroll).
• Manage reconciliations, controls and compliance in GL processes.
• Interface with internal/external auditors and support bank reconciliations.
