Job summary

GMV is seeking a Ground Segment Maintenance & Governance Engineer to support the Galileo programme. You will coordinate asset management, configuration control, and system security for European space infrastructure.

In a multidisciplinary, international environment, you will work with engineering, operations, and cybersecurity teams, driving change, anomalies, and deployment coordination to ensure reliable, compliant services across AMT/VMT governance.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance, service, or change management environments.
• Experience coordinating NRB/ARB/CCB review boards and action tracking.
• Strong knowledge of change, configuration, release, and deployment processes.
• Knowledge of asset and vulnerability management concepts.
• Basic cybersecurity knowledge including RBAC and governance.
• Experience preparing technical documentation and customer-facing deliverables.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate internal NRBs and customer-facing ARBs.
• Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, action tracking reports, and service management reports.
• Monitor anomalies, maintenance activities, and corrective actions.
• Manage Change Control Requests (CCRs) and deployment documentation.
• Coordinate software releases and data extraction/analysis activities.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, maintenance, cybersecurity, and customers.
• Ensure compliance with configuration management, maintenance, and operational procedures.
• Drive continuous improvement of AMT/VMT services and governance processes.
