Descripción del empleo

The selected candidate will be part of a young and motivated team located between Igualada and Barcelona, focusing on the design and development of Embedded Software (Firmware) for IoT, Building, and Home Automation devices.

Your profile

• Telecommunications, Electronics Engineer or similar.
• Developing Embedded SW (C & C++).
• Envisioning and developing products with TCP/IP and serial (RS-232, RS-485) communications and sockets.
• Using basic instrumentation (power supply, oscilloscope, etc.).
• Testing and product validation.

Minimum requirements

• Telecommunications, Electronics Engineer or similar.
• Proven experience in developing Embedded SW (C & C++).
• Experience with TCP/IP and serial (RS-232, RS-485) communications and sockets.
• Using basic instrumentation (power supply, oscilloscope, etc.).
• Testing and product validation.
• Fluent English.

Additional skills to be considered:

• Experience in IoT product development.
• Knowledge of and experience with standard protocols and technologies such as KNX, BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks, EnOcean, Zigbee, Z-Wave, OPC, M-Bus, OCPP, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G, LTE, 4G, NB-IoT, CAT-M, LoRa.
• Experience with continuous integration development and Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of other programming languages (mainly C# & Visual Basic).
