Plexus Tech is seeking a Functional Analyst with experience in Counterparty Credit Risk and XVA to join its Risk & Markets initiatives in Madrid. You will bridge business needs and technology, defining functional solutions across risk analytics, reporting and regulatory processes.

In this role, you may lead functional workstreams, own complex requirements, and mentor junior team members while collaborating with Risk, Trading Desks, Quants, and Data Engineers.

What are we looking for? a Functional Analyst / Functional Specialist with experience in Counterparty Credit Risk (CCR) and XVA environments to join strategic Risk & Markets initiatives within a leading Corporate & Investment Banking organization.

This role will be responsible for analyzing, defining and implementing functional solutions across risk analytics, reporting and regulatory processes. The successful candidate will work closely with Risk, Trading Desks, Quantitative teams, Data Engineers and Developers, acting as a key bridge between business and technology.

Depending on the candidate's experience, the role may include leadership of functional workstreams, ownership of complex requirements and guidance to more junior team members.

Mandatory Requirements

Experience

• 1+ years of experience in Corporate & Investment Banking, Markets, Risk, Counterparty Risk or XVA-related projects.
• Proven experience delivering functional analysis initiatives in risk management environments.

Functional Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of Counterparty Credit Risk (CCR).
• Strong understanding of XVA concepts, processes and metrics (CVA, DVA, FVA and related methodologies).
• Knowledge of financial products and derivatives.
• Understanding of Trading Desk workflows and risk management processes.
• Experience in risk analytics, reporting and data validation.
• Requirements gathering, functional analysis and solution design.
• GAP analysis and process definition.
• Functional testing and UAT coordination.

Technical Skills

• SQL.
• Atoti / ActiveViam
• Data analysis and reconciliation.
• Understanding of data models and reporting architectures.
• Experience working with Jira and Confluence

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
